Lutz Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pump 3/8” (05/06)

SeparatorLine

DMP GruppeThe Lutz AOD pump model DMP 3/8" is a natural complement to the Lutz range, suitable for a variety of industrial applications where small and medium-sized flow rates have to be handled. Designed to transfer fluids containing large solids and highly viscous fluids. Special construction features offer numerous advantages compared with traditional ball valves avoiding failure of the pumps due to suction problems, plugged valves or high wear.

MaxPassMax-PassTM - Technique

The innovative Max-PassTM valve design of model 3/8" prevents any suction problems, makes it possible to handle even up to 4-fold larger solid particles, creates a 25% increase of the suction capability of the pump and increases valve service life. With a maximum output of 34 l/min. and an operating pressure of up to 8 bar, the pumps are ideally suitable for conveying high viscosity fluids with a high solids content or containing large solid particles serving many industry sectors e.g. paint & lacquer, clay and ceramic, electroplating, water treatment etc..

Proven and reliable pump casing materials from Polypropylene (PP), Polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF) or Nylon (PA) as well as diaphragms and valves from Geolast® (NBR), Santoprene® (EPDM), Viton® and PTFE ensure the chemical resistance of the wetted parts. Explosion proof models according to Ex II 2 G c T4 (Atex) with a conductive housing from Nylon are available for handling easy flammable liquids and operation in hazardous duty environment.

DMP 3/8Lube-free and non-stalling operation

Model DMP 3/8” as well as all other air operated double diaphragm pumps from Lutz have an absolutely lube-free and non stalling air control valve system which operates without failure even for long periods, at low air pressure or low stroke frequency without added lubricant. If the pump is to be controlled remotely by way of a PLC, relay or switch, an electrical air control valve is optionally available. Batch processing and single metering tasks can both be performed under the control of the frequency and number of electromagnetic pulses.
